Our good plans – June 2023

Restaurants

This little Belleville canteen delights locals and curious visitors alike. In tiny Lemon Street, Primeur offers a delicious parmentier and a burger that has saved many a hangover over the years. Particularly fresh, its light bun, vegetable steak, hashbrowns and mayo help mop up just the right amount. To try it is to adopt it.

La Gaufrerie is a quality restaurant where a unique product takes pride of place: the waffle. Available in savory and sweet versions, the waffle is revisited with passion to transform itself into an original, surprising and always gourmet dish.

The Auberge Bressane, close to the Invalides and the Eiffel Tower, is a must for “copains d’abord”. The cuisine is French and bourgeois, with delicious Burgundian accents. Everything is homemade in the purest respect for classic French recipes. All these dishes are accompanied by a fine wine list featuring all the regions of France, with over 300 references.

Around Laurent Frechet, owner of the establishment and many other gastronomic addresses in Paris, an incubator of talent is working to achieve this perfect balance. While Laurent is a true connoisseur of places, a finder of talented chefs and a counter of great stories, his architect wife creates spaces with a unique cachet, while his brother Jean-Marie goes out to meet winemakers in search of the ideal wine, and his partner Thomas Chaput and manager Éric Grivot each in their own way distill that je-ne-sais-quoi in the dining room that makes you feel good at Pirouette.

Dedicated to the bucolic charm of botanical discovery, the Parc de Bagatelle welcomes you to the Bois de Boulogne for a leisurely stroll. You’ll be charmed by the gentle murmur of water, which accompanies your footsteps in the landscaped part of the park. The setting is so perfectly romantic, it’s almost unreal. Small bridges, rocks, caves, water mirrors and artificial waterfalls crisscross the wooded canopy of gigantic trees.

The Château de Versailles, whose origins date back to the 17th century, was successively a hunting lodge, a place of power and, from the 19th century onwards, a museum. Comprising the park, gardens and châteaux of Trianon, it covers 800 hectares.
